All the earring backs are high quality stainless steel however some of the findings (jump rings, hooks etc.) may be made of nickel, lead free metal. Therefore, it is important to note that perfume and water may tarnish/discolor the material. Earrings with tassels can be easily neatened up by brushing with your fingers. When removing your earrings from their card, try not to flex the clay too heavily. Gently slide it off. Please Do Not bend your earrings to see how flexible they are, it will cause them to become weak and break.

*Please know before purchasing* all of my earrings are handmade and with that there may be slight imperfections. I try my very best to eliminate bubbles and markings HOWEVER because they are handmade it is impossible to make them absolutely perfect. I will never send earrings with large imperfections. The pair you receive may not be identical to the photographed pair due to lighting, etc. I will never send out a product that is not up to my standards. 

 

Shipping Policy:

Please allow up to 5 business days for processing. Priority shipping does not mean your order will process faster, it just means it will arrive to it's destination quicker once dropped off at the post office. Made to Order earrings have a processing time of 10-15 business days. 

According to the USPS, please allow 30 business days before filing a claim for a lost package and 40 days for International.  Please wait the full time before reaching out about a lost package. 

Shipping Internationally: The customer is responsible for all customs fees. If the customer’s country or region charges fees (import tariff, customs handling fee, added tax, etc), the customer must pay the charge(s).

If the package is returned to sender or needs to be reshipped for any reason, the customer is responsible for reshipping fees. 

 

 

Return Policy:

Our earrings are handmade, one of a kind pieces giving them imperfections sometimes. With that being said, I want to make sure you love your earrings, so here is our return policy. XO,T

If anything happens to your earrings upon arrival please notify us immediately. We ask that you let us know within 5 business days of arrival after that we cannot be confident that this error in fact happened in transit. If a repair or replacement needs to take place, once the original is received please give up to 10-12 business days for the replacement to be remade and shipped out. 

We pride ourselves in making accessories that will last years to come. We know things can happen especially with handmade items and if something you purchased breaks please email us and we will assess how to move forward. Repairs for items that broke at NO FAULT to the customer within 30 days of receiving will be repaired/replaced at no cost. Anything after 30 days will be reviewed on a case to case basis and the customer must pay shipping for the return of the item in need of repair/replacement.

With custom pieces no returns are accepted. There are no exchanges for any earrings that include the description "made from a slab, each earring will be different but have the same color scheme" by buying these earrings you are agreeing to those terms. If you are returning due to damage you can only receive a duplicate of your previous order. 

Polymer clay is very durable and even bendable HOWEVER  please do not bend your earrings. I understand that accidents do happen so if for some reason you break your earrings please contact me via EMAIL. I will review on a case by case basis. 

The cost of shipping is final.

Refunds:

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If your return is approved, you'll automatically be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take a few business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. 

In order to be eligible for a return, please ensure the following:

  • Your purchase was in the last 14 days
  • The merchandise is in the original packaging
  • The merchandise was not used or damaged
  • You have proof of purchase

Made by Lane reserves the right to refuse returns on merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions. 

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning merchandise to Made by Lane.

Made by Lane cannot be held responsible for merchandise damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, an insured and trackable return is recommended. Made by Lane is unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the return or proof of received return delivery.
